God called Greg Welch home on March 12, 2022. Born in Colorado Springs, Colorado to Edward and Zella Welch, Greg was the youngest of four brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his wife, Susan; his three children, Keilah, Brian, and Christina; his four grandchildren, Charlie, Harper, Claire, and Liam; and his brother Steve.

Born and raised in Colorado Springs, Greg enjoyed a successful career in banking, most recently as the Senior Vice President of Independent Financial. He was a man dedicated to his Catholic faith and committed much of his time to giving back to his community. His most recent honors include serving as Chairman of the Police Foundation of Colorado Springs, Board Member of the Fire Foundation of Colorado Springs, Advisory Board Member to the YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region – Southeast and Armed Services, Council Member for the Colorado Springs Chamber and Economic Development Advisory Council, and Board Member for Fountain Urban Renewal Authority.

Greg will forever be remembered for his kind heart and wonderful sense of humor. His laugh filled the room, and his selflessness was unbridled. He was loved by so many friends and family members and will be deeply missed.

A service will be held at the Shrine of Remembrance in Colorado Springs on Friday, March 18th at 2pm.

It was always fun to babysit my cousins, they'd run around like crazy but loved to be read to also. Greg always tried hard to be at the front of every thing! With sympathies, Jan
