Hailey Holmberg Obituary
She was born on January 23, 1976, to Susan and Joe Wells and was a lifelong resident of Colorado Springs. She graduated from Wasson High School and received her undergrad from UCCS with an Economics degree. She possessed an inspired vision for home improvement and a natural talent to execute various projects that included remodeling, interior decorating, and landscaping.
Hailey married the love of her life, Jason Holmberg, on August 14, 1999, at the Fine Arts Center in Colorado Springs.
She is survived by her husband; her beloved daughter, Payton; her parents; and her grandmother, Mary Lou Wells.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents: JR and Juanita Dixon, and Joe Wells.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, January 19, 2015, at the Shrine of Remembrance "America the Beautiful" Chapel with a reception to follow at the Olympian Plaza Reception and Event Center at 975 S. Union Blvd. in Colorado Springs. Private interment will be at Fairview Cemetery along with her grandparents, JR and Juanita Dixon.
Memorial contributions can be made in Hailey's memory for her daughter's college education c/o Edward Jones RE: Hailey Holmberg Memorial Fund, 4830 Rusina Road, Suite A, Colorado Springs, CO 80907, or the Foundation for Thymic Cancer Research (http://www.thymic.org/).

I am so very sorry to hear of Hailey's passing. We went to Wasson High scchool together and also worked at Taco Bell together our junior and senior years of high school. My heart goes out to the family and friends. May she rest in peace.
