Han Gil Chung

Han Gil Chung (77) of Colorado Springs passed away on July 5, 2023 surrounded by his loved ones.
Han was born May 18, 1946 in Korea. He immigrated to the U.S. in 1976 and raised his family in rural Arkansas. His story inspired the award winning movie Minari, written and directed by his son.
Han is survived by his wife of 48 years, Sunny Chung, daughter Leisle Chung, son Lee Isaac Chung, son-in-law Vinh Chung, and daughter-in-law Valerie Chung. He has five grandchildren Caleb, Luke, Clara, Livia, and Timothy.
