Hank Reiber Obituary

Born to Carl and Bertha Reiber on July 18, 1943, Hank spent his younger years on the farm. Upon moving to Denver as a young teenager, he met his wife, Sherry Schmiedbauer, two houses down. During the 48 years of marriage, they had Troy, Kori, and Tara, and loved up 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Hank has always been in the building business. He had learned most all aspects of the trade in his early adult years, finishing the last 20 years as a custom home builder. Hank has ushered in Bible Study Fellowship, sharing his hospitality every Monday night to many men for also 20 years. Hank's Legacy: a man who has always thought of others before himself. He taught his son and son in-laws the construction trade. Hank would never pass up an opportunity for family time. Whether it was enjoying the beauty of camping in Colorado, water-skiing with kids and grand-kids, enjoying nights in the RV next to the lake, playing pinochle, holding his babies and grand babies and great grand babies, his love and love of life spilled over to all. On June 29, 2011, Hank peacefully took up residence in heaven, where his story continues... Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, July 2, 2011 in the World Prayer Center of New Life Church.
