Barbara,
Mr. Ingersoll - Buck will be missed in many, many ways; a very kind, caring, and wonderful man that touched many lives. From us, to you, know that many things that will be expressed in memorial will convey the tremendously caring and interests that Buck showed in so many things, and so many ways. Knowing Buck, was to know nothing was too enormous or to trivial, for the interest was equal and exclusively acknowledged in a special way. We should all embrace those Lasting Memories, for the legacy is great; and the remembrance will live by many that knew Buck - for keeping their memories alive as well. Our hearts reaches out to yours with love, with sympathy, and with caring hearts.
Thinking of you at this difficult time, our thoughts and prayers will always be with you.
Our heartfelt sympathy and condolences.

How sad we are today to learn of Buck's passing. We will always cherish the memories of our times with Buck from the day he first began courting you, Barbara, through the adventures we had together over the years in the mountains and at your ranch. We will miss the dinners we had in recent years at Juniper Valley. The things that others have said in his memorial are all true. What a wonderful, gentle giant of a man.
We love you Buck,
Terri and Eckhard Pobuda

As the Penrose Club Concierge at the Broadmoor World Arena, I've known Buck since the beginning of the arena, during the construction phase. I was hired early on in 1997, before the World Arena was built, and part of my job was to give tours of the building. He was so excited about the seats for the hockey games that he had chosen for himself and Barbara and wanted to stop by regularly to check on the progress of the Arena as it was being built. He was determined to check daily so I finally gave him his own hard hat and we decided together, if he carried a clipboard each day that he stopped by, all of the workers might think he was a supervisor stopping by to check on them. And actually, nobody ever questioned his presence! He was so proud! He was a quiet but funny man and we all enjoyed him so much when he and Barbara came into the club for dinner before the games. We truly appreciate he and Barbara's support of the Broadmoor World Arena all of these years. He will be greatly missed by all of us. Verlee Koskovich (Penrose Club Concierge, Broadmoor World Arena)

I've known Buck and Barbara for 24 years. So many wonderful memories have filled my mind since learning of Buck's passing. Buck was a man of few words but said volumes with his heart. Humble, he was. Loving and kind, he was. Though big in stature, he had a special sensitivity to all living things. He and Barbara got me my first dog. Years later, when the dog had a bad neck injury and required extensive surgery, I discovered half the bill had already been paid by an "anonymous uncle." No person or animal was too big or too small for Buck to care about. Many memories from times at their home and cabin, teaching me to fly fish, walks in the woods. Even when not well, they showed up to my 50th birthday party. The world is a better place because Buck Ingersoll lived here. I will miss you dear Buck. Barbara, my sincere condolences and love to you always.

Buck and I have been friends ever since I first met him in pre-school. Although at one time he and I were very close and shared many experiences, we have not had much contact these past few years due mostly to distance and age. Nevertheless, I still consider him to be my best friend. To learn of his passing this morning was a shock and it is hard to accept that I will never again see or hear from him. Memories of the past keep crowding into my mind and I can't help but smile when thinking about Buck and how he and his family affected my life. Those years were as much a part of my upbringing as was the influence of my own family. Buck was a very low key person and he probably would never have admitted what a great guy he really was or own up to all the good things he did for me and everyone else. I will really miss him.

My darling Barbara
So many special times we have shared since 1969. We never envisioned losing our husbands. Life so full of Aspen trees---fishing---mountains---horseback riding---hiking. Our memories forever. Jim and Buck were so patient with us.
Two very special men and we both will miss them forever. It seems like yesterday you were building your new home. I am sending you so many prayers and love. God is with you and
watching over you. My love

Buck and his lovely wife Barbara are part of the best moments of my life. I had the honor of having Christmas Eve dinner with them for 20 years. They were there when my husband dropped to one knee and asked me to marry him and every year since where we caught up on the activities each year. I was honored to have a place beside Buck to ask him what was the great vacation trip, the sweet new animal they adopted, or what great cause they championed that year. I am a better person for knowing Buck and I know he is there in heaven smiling kindly on us all.

Buck was a great gentleman and a kind and generous person. I so enjoyed being with him, having lunch with him at Sheldon's and Tony's and other places. He was a lifelong CC Hockey fan and I will miss him in many, many ways. My condolences to Barbara, as well. What a fine ranch he maintained.

Buck Ingersoll was a fine man. Years ago I reported some of his tenants at the Antenna Farm on top of Cheyenne Mountain were using the access road as a dump. I showed it to him, and in a flash it was cleaned up and kept that way. He gave me the gate combination and welcomed me to keep an eye on it. He sure loved that mountain. I am sorry he is gone.
