After all of the time that you have spent away from home working (non stop) ~ We both marvel at the thought that God "orchestrated" your circumstances so you could be home to support your family!

We are thankful that you had the chance to spend precious time saying goodbye to your beloved Father in law.

I AM SO SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT YOUR DAD. HE (PA) AND YOUR MOM (MA) WERE ALWAYS SO KIND TO ME WHENEVER I WOULD COME TO YOUR HOUSE. I FEEL BAD THAT I NEVER GOT AHOLD OF YOU WHEN YOUR MOM PASSED AWAY TO EXPRESS MY CONDOLENCES TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY. I DIDN'T WANT THAT TO HAPPEN NOW SO PLEASE ACCEPT MY PRAYERS AND THOUGHTS. I THOUGHT YOU MOVED OUT OF STATE AND I COULD NOT REMEMBER YOUR MARRIED NAME TO TRY AND FIND YOU. PLEASE CALL ME SOME TIME SO WE CAN MAYBE MEET AND CATCH UP ON TIME. AGAIN I AM SO SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT YOUR DAD.

I got a hold of Etta and told her of Buds passing ,this is a poem that she has written. Love Rowene

God gives us life
And in his plan,
Were really just alone.
He gives us time
To spend on earth,
Then he calls us each back home.
God works in many different ways,
And need we ask but why.
He knows whats best for each of
us.
Now we must say goodby.

We are so sorry to see that Bud has past away.We are still in Texas or we would certianly be there for the service.

Diane and family,

My heart goes out to you at this time of loss. While your dad was in failing health, it is still difficult to say goodbye. Bud was always charming to talk to and had such knowledge and a lifetime of interests. Remember, "Wherever a beautiful soul has been.... there is a trail of wonderful memories."

My father-in-law, Bud, will be missed. He always had a wonderful bear hug greeting. One of my favorite memories involved Bud taking Dave, Jason, and Josh fishing. He actually baited the hook, took the fish off and then cleaned them. That's how he lived his life. He was always generous and making sure everyone was taken care of. It was very difficult to ever pay for a dinner out as Bud would always grab the check. I will miss his "stories" although I heard many of them several times and I could probably tell some of his stories, but I would likely leave out the details and names which Bud always remebered even up until the last time we saw him in October of 2007. I hope Bud has found a good fishin' hole in heaven. I picture him with Marion by his side overlooking a beautiful lake where the fish are always biting.
