Harold never met a human being he didn't touch. How many Tilton/Northfield kids learned about respect from him, finding admiration for the life of service he led? How many understood the rewards for a job well done, whether it was finishing the school year, on the sports field, or as a participant in a civil society? He was a teacher with a big classroom. Harold, we all salute you - you are missed by many more than you ever could have guessed.

Dear Mom,
I cant even begin to imagine, the loss and emptiness you must be feeling right now. Harold was a godsend to all of us, especially for you, a perfect match the two of you were. I know that you are so very grateful that he was such an important part of your life, and that you will miss him tremendously. I will forever cherish the memories and all of the wonderful and special times that we all shared. I couldnt have asked for a better "Dad",his wisdom, caring, advise and laughter i will forever be grateful for, how I loved him so. You and he shared the same positive, optimistic outlook on life, always putting yourselves last for the benefit of others, Such strength you have. I love you and we will keep looking for all of those pennies from heaven, as i am sure Harold will be sending down lots of them.

Please accept my condolences to all of the Harbour family. We were neighbors back in the 50's living by the Northfield reservoir. When I was sick from school Harold and Beverly used to care for me. Harold was a good man and will be missed by many.

To the Harbour Family. I think I have known Harold all my life. His Mother and my Grandmother were in a sewing club together and lived less than an 8th of a mile apart. He was a man of many talents and gave tirelessly to the towns of Tilton and Northfield. He will be much missed. I hope all the good memories will carry you through this tough time.

We are so sorry to hear of Harold's passing. For the longest time, we saw him drive by nearly every day and would wave. My favorite memory is the day one of our son's did not want to walk to school. We were sitting on the front steps talking about it....passed the time he should have been in school. Harold stopped as he drove by and asked if everything was all right. (I believe he was the Truant Officer at the time). Harold leaves a big hole and will be missed. Brian and Kathy Love

Your Dad was a great man and huge contributor to the community, you all must be so very proud of the life your Dad lived.

I have always carried the fondest memories of our last day of school, each and every year, Mr. Harbor would drive the school bus to Jim's Drive-In in Northfield, and he bought all the bus students an ice cream cone on the very last day of school. We all looked so forward to it, little did he know much of an impression it made on all of us.

Rest in Peace Harold.....

My deepest sympathies to the entire Harbor family,
