Harry Louie Obituary

Harry C.H. Louie, 88, was born in Canton, China on December 17, 1921. He immigrated to the United States in 1946. He, his father and two brothers owned and operated The Grand Café, the first Chinese restaurant in Colorado Springs. Harry was preceded in death by his wife, Lily N.Y. Louie. He is survived by his four children, James (Linda) Louie, Beverly (Ronald Finch) Louie, Wilbur (Charlene) Louie and Betty (Dexter) Sedlor; five grandchildren, Neal, Rory, Ashley, Kara and Leeann; and two brothers, Jin H. “Faye� Louie and Chew M. “Gene� Louie. Harry enjoyed working in his garden, taking walks, practicing TaiChi, and visits to Las Vegas and the dog track. Visitation will be Friday, September 17, 2010 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Swan Law Funeral Directors. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, September 18, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the Swan Law Cascade Chapel, 501 N. Cascade Avenue, Colorado Springs. Burial immediately following at Evergreen Cemetery, Colorado Springs, Colorado.
