To the whole Krueger Family. Our thoughts and sympathy are with you at the sad passing of Harry. May the real life soldier rest in peace. His work is done. Although Harry never got to visit Ireland we all felt a part of him when we visited Palmer Lake. Couldn't be a funnier, gentler character. He was one of a kind. Salute to you sir xx Love from Sarah, Eddie, Lily & Ted (Lily thanks you for her little bunny u gave her when we last visited x )

I first met Harry several years ago at the annual PLVFD dinner for longtime members. He had a big smile, a twinkle in his eye and was wearing a M*A*S*H baseball cap. He made a big impression on me. What a character! He always made me smile. Still does. Peace to all the family.

I worked with Harry in the School District. He was always a loyal employee, helping where he could. He was a man of commitment and honor.

I really didn't know Harry, although I should have growing up in Monument. About a dozen years ago I started going to the old timers, Big red school reunions with my sister Leslie Jean Marshall. She was close friends with Harry and Margot. We always spent time with Margot and would see Harry at the school. I took my grand daughter with me a couple of times and the year she was 11 or 12 we were sitting close to Harry, he was visiting with my sister Jeanne, he smiled at Sydney and later blew her a kiss. She blushed but didn't say anything. Later in the camper she commented " the first time in my life a man blows me a kiss and it is an old Geezer!"
We have loved that moment, we talked of it often. We spent many more times around Harry and developed a fondness for him. I am so sad to hear of his passing. Love to Heather and family. Joyce Huffaker

Chris and I were very sad to hear of Harry's passing. We always got a kick out of visiting with him and Mr. Bumbles. We were in Palmer Lake last week on May 26th and I wouldn't leave until I got to see to Harry. I'm so thankful I went up to visit with him for a view minutes that day. He even took a selfie with me. :) He was a great neighbor to my in-laws. He will be missed!

I would visit Harry often as I would venture up on Sundance Mountain to help the PLVFD care for the star he so loved. Harry was a proud family man, veteran, fireman, and overall great fellow who truly loved the star on Sundance his dad Jesse helped build in 1935 and he and his brothers Orville and Kenny helped change bulbs on in the 40's and early 50's. I shall miss Harry....and think of him every time the star shines!

Harry was so important in my life. I remember looking out my grandmas kitchen window and he would be out there mowing everthing from his house to ours. His jokes every morning when he came in for coffee. He was in so many ways like a second dad to me. My love and prayers are with my dear friends, his children. Rest high on that mountain and enjoy your morning visits with my dad Bob Romack and your brother Andy! Palmer Lake will miss you terribly... Love Berta
