Harry Wayne Riley, age 87, of Colorado Springs, Colorado passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at his home.
Harry is survived by his wife, Norma L. (Trimble) Riley, 4 children - Wanda (Don) Gunther, Wayne, Sam (Kerri), Jane Klopenstine; grandchildren - Kyle Klopenstine, Katelyn and Matthew Riley; great-grandchildren, Roddick and Logan Klopenstine, Emily Cook, Brody, Briella, and Beau Labate, and Riley Koros.
He was preceded in death by his parents (Harry & Bertha), five brothers, three sisters, son-in-law Mike Klopenstine and grandsons Phillip Gunther and Christopher Klopenstine.
Harry was a US Air Force veteran of 20 years and last stationed at NORAD. As a civilian, he worked for Loral Corp and Ford Aerospace.
He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Security, Colorado.
A visitation for Harry will be held Thursday, December 8, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a luncheon at 12:00 PM at Faith Lutheran Church, 315 Security BLVD, Colorado Springs, CO 80911. A committal service will occur Friday, December 9, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Pikes Peak National Cemetery, 10545 Drennan Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80925.
