Harvey Fishbein Obituary

Of Colorado Springs passed away peacefully on Friday, April 29, 2016. Born March 14, 1934 in Brooklyn, New York. At the age of 22, he joined the U.S. Army and served his country honorably for 2 years. He found his way to San Francisco, CA where he worked at Kemper Insurance. Later, he worked for many years at AT&T, but the volunteer work he did throughout his life and into his 80th year was the most satisfying "job" Harvey had including work at Marin General Hospital, "We Care" in Orlando, FL and most recently with the Colorado Springs Probation Department where he logged over 10,000 hours of service.

Harvey was predeceased by his parents, Isidore and Ester Fishbein, sister Gail Arnold, and aunt, Elsie Asher.

He is survived by his cousin, Glenn Asher and nephew David Arnold. He is also survived by friend Harvey Bransky, godchildren, Eric Bransky (Suzanne) and Lisa Brumskill (Thomas) as well as friend Blair Ogden and his children, Myles Ogden (Jenny), Martin Ogden (Andra), and Joanna Baggiolini (Peter) who thought of him as a second father. Harvey touched many people with his quick, wry sense of humor, honesty, and gentle nature. He will be sadly missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held in San Francisco within the next few months.

I miss Harvey. He was good for a joke and had big heart. It's just not the same without him.
