Babubhai Patel
We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Hasmukhbhai Babubhai Patel, of Sojitra, Gujarat, India, who resided in Charlotte, North Carolina. He was a great, courageous man, a wonderful father, a loving husband, and a giving man whom others wished to emulate. He passed peacefully in his home on Friday, November 3rd, 2006 at 10:10 PM, at the age of sixty-one. He was surrounded by his family, including his loving wife of almost 40 years of marriage, Nilu Patel, his sons Dhaval Patel and Pratik Patel, and his daughter, Dipti Desai. He was blessed to see his children happily married and has three grandchildren whom he adored. We shall all miss him and pray for his soul to have the peace, love, and happiness that he brought to others throughout his life. He truly lived the meaning of his given name, 'Hasmukh', which in Sanskrit is 'laughing face'. The name implies that this person easily brought smiles to other people's faces.
