Helen passed away on December 10, 2017. Helen was dearly loved by her family and friends and will be missed.
Helen's celebration of life will be Monday December 18, 2017, 11:00 a.m. at The Sanctuary Church, 1930 W. Colorado Avenue, Colorado Springs.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to The Sanctuary Church.

I just learned of Helen's passing through this obituary. She was my mother's first cousin, and I had written to her and tried to call her at Christmastime. I last talked with Helen by phone on Christmas Day 2013, shortly after her 90th birthday, and we had a wonderful conversation--she told me it made her day. My mother passed away in December 2012. Seeing Helen's photograph, it was remarkable how much they looked alike. My condolences to Helen's family in Colorado.

Helen lived--thought and spoke--from a Kingdom-of-God mentality which was infectious. It was a pleasure to be in her presence when she prayed. Prayer was never far from her. I believe she truly prayed "without ceasing." Thinking about Helen increases my longing for heaven.

Helen was a dear Church sister for many years and her example will be greatly missed. But now Helen is walking hand in hand with Jesus. What more could you want for her?
