I came to know Marion last summer after I started playing Bridge at the Club. Though our friendship was very sadly cut short, knowing Marion was a rich and rewarding experience for me. She guided me through the intricacies of the game, teaching me Bridge conventions and techniques every single week. She was always eager to impart and help me with my game, and also further her own understanding and it made me realize how one can be a lifelong learner. We chatted about things outside of Bridge and I came to know what an accomplished, and enriching life she had led. I heard from many other members of the club and those who knew her over the years, how much they valued their association and friendship with Marion. I will miss her smile, enthusiasm, competitiveness, and above all our friendship.

It was a great pleasure to get to know Marion these last few years through the Bridge Club. As a returning bridge player, Marion took a special interest in my game and we played many games together. She good naturedly used my many mistakes as learning experiences to advance my game.
I loved talking with her and was amazed with the fantastic experiences she had enjoyed, from travel to ski instructor. Marion lived her full life on her terms, bravo.
