Helga Edmondson Obituary

Helga Brigitte Edmondson, a resident of Holiday Island, Arkansas, was born September 13, 1946 in Oettingen, Germany, a daughter of Werner and Sofie (Albrecht) Paul. She departed this life Saturday, December 7, 2013 in her home in Holiday Island, at the age of 67 years.

Helga was of the Baptist faith and retired as a Property Management Specialist from The Rawhide Company in Colorado Springs and a homemaker. She was a member of the North Arkansas Heirloom Doll Club.

On December 1, 1965, Helga was united in marriage with Martin Edmondson who survives her of the home. She is also survived by two sons, David Edmondson and wife Kim of Colorado Springs, CO and Richard Edmondson and wife Krischele of Virginia Beach, VA; one daughter, Jeanette and husband Blaine Tyson of Foreign Services in Africa; one brother, Dieter Paul and wife Christa of Bad Tolz, Germany; one sister, Heidi and husband Werner Franz of Germany; nine grandchildren; mother-in-law, Mabel Edmondson of San Saba, TX; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends and loved ones.

Helga was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial service will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday, December 12, 2013 at Nelson's Chapel of the Springs. Cremation is under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service. Memorial donations may be made to Tender Heart Wildlife Rehab, 213 Bunch Springs Road, Berryville, Arkansas 72616.
