Funeral services for Fran (Walkingstick) Elliott, 72, of Sallisaw, were held at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 10, 2025, at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw. Burial followed at Akins Cemetery, under the direction of the Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
She was born on April 14, 1953, in Sallisaw to Mary Charlene (Lessley) Walkingstick and Louis Dwight Walkingstick, Sr. She passed away on Friday, Oct. 3, 2025.
She worked as a registered nurse and was a member of First Baptist Church in Sallisaw.
Survivors are a brother, Louis Walkingstick, Jr. and wife Christy of Sallisaw; three nephews; five great-nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers were Justin Benham, Austin Benham, Patrick Pointer, David Lessley, Dalton Lessley, Carter Lessley, Lea Lessley and Bennett Lessley.
Honorary pallbearers were Matt Walkingstick and Sam Walkingstick.
