Henry Palmer Obituary

Henry "Bud" Palmer of Colorado Springs peacefully passed away on February 3, 2015 and into the arms of his Lord, Jesus Christ.

Bud was born in Bellaire, OH April 12, 1945 to the late Henry Sr. and Kathryn Palmer. He was preceded in death by his sister, Sally Orlofske and many beloved family dogs.

Bud is survived by his wife of 49 years, Carolyn (Holenka) and their children, Christopher (Madeline), Heidi, and Brian (Carolyn) all of Colorado Springs, grandson, Christian of California, granddaughter, Mackenzie of Colorado Springs, and his sister, Patti Morris of WV.

Bud served in the U.S. Navy for four years, was a proud Vietnam Veteran and was awarded numerous medals.

Bud worked in Aerospace Defense as a Senior Project Manager. He worked for Litton Industries, Northrop Grumman, PRC, and was currently employed with ITT/Exelis Inc. He was very dedicated and well-respected in his field of work.

Bud was a fan of the Denver Broncos, but he loved the Ohio State Buckeyes and celebrated their National Championship Victory.

Bud will be dearly missed by his wife, children, grandchildren and friends. His kind heart, generous nature and off-the-wall humor (It's a Bud thing) will be fondly remembered.

A private prayer will be held in his honor with immediate family by Pastor Gordon Wood, Faith Evangelical Free Church.
