Henry Stout Obituary

STOUT, Henry D., age 80 of Springboro, passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2011. Henry was a graduate of Denison University and he retired from John Hancock Life Ins. Co. after 35 years of service. An avid sportsman and loving family man, Henry believed in helping his fellow man and volunteered with Habitat for Humanity in Guatemala. Henry served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War and also lived in Colorado for 12 wonderful years. Preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Daun (Davis) Stout; sister, Virginia Cheslock, brother-in-law, Walt Cheslock and step-grandson, Kyle Wood. Henry is survived by his devoted wife of 29 years, Jeanne; daughters, Linda (Robert) Dugins and Cindy (Stephen) Dering; step-children, Debbie Menke, Connie (Tedd) Wood and Dale (Robin) Hare; 12 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; niece, Daun Cheslock-Bishop and nephew, Bill Cheslock. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, May 1st at 3:00 PM at Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St., Centerville. Family will greet friends following the service at the funeral home until 5:30 PM. The family extends a special Thank You to all the loving caregivers of Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties. Gifts in Henrys memory may be made to Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties, 5940 Long Meadow Dr, Franklin, Ohio 45005. Online tributes may be sent to the family at WWW.ROUTSONG.COM.
