I did not know of his great legacy until today. His books I pray are carried on by his daughters and great grandchildren. His father was a great man of God as a author and teacher of God's word. His son helped publish his father's books. They both have left a mark on this world. As God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit get all the glory because they made him. I am so glad I came across him.

Dear Ardis,
I am so sorry to read of Herb's death but we know that we will all be reunited. There are so many memories ~ Herb teaching the Bible Study at our home ~ your wedding ~ the day that I was talking to Dr.Hanson, after our Rotary Club meeting, and knowing that he was looking for a pastor, reminded him of Herb and he went right back to the church and called him. And there are so many more but please know that I will be thinking of you and the family and praying for your comfort and peace.

Thinking of you during this time. We met Herbert Jr. only once before his father, Dr. Herbert Lockyer, Sr. married my husband and I in Colorado Springs March 29, 1980. A wonderful family! Looking forward to seeing them both in heaven someday.
