Hilda Bruner Obituary

Hilda Clemmons Bruner died February 23, 2009, at her home in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was born in Pickens County, AL on August 18, 1934, to Elvin and Ada Clemmons. She graduated from Lee High School and from Volunteer State Community College in Tennessee. She is preceded in death by her parents. Her survivors are her daughter - Rebecca Halverson (Gary) of Albuquerque; her sons - Richard Bruner (Lujuana) of Montgomery, AL, Kenneth Bruner (Karen) of Kopelei of Hawaii; her grandchildren - Stephan Halverson of Albuquerque, Stephanie Fielder (Ronnie), Kristina Bruner and Stacia Bruner all of Montgomery; Nicole Bruner, Nathan Bruner and Wynne Bruner all of Hawaii; Theran Harlan of Albuquerque. She also had one great-grandson - Hayden Fielder of Montgomery. She leaves two sisters - Mavis Derden of Columbus and Gladys McGahey of Tuscaloosa and a number of nieces, nephews and friends. Her humor and her cheerful personality will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her. Funeral arrangements will be handled in Albuquerque. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to The Muscular Dystrophy Foundation or to the charity of your choice.
