Colorado, to become the most successful and dominant bail bond provider that Southern Colorado has ever seen.
Homer was crazy about his family; he lived life for his children Dennis Blackwell (Lynette) and Janice Titus (John). His grandchildren were the apples of his eye, Steve Titus and Trevor Blackwell often put Pop on the spot questioning who was his number 1. His granddaughters, Britney Titus and Taylor Blackwell couldn't do much wrong either. They loved to
aggravate their grandpa as much as he loved to aggravate them. His presence in their lives is one of our greatest losses.
When Homer's wife Diane passed on May 21,2010, a big part of Homer passed. He often told us he couldn't wait till the day he could be with her in Heaven. The Lord answered his prayer on January 30,2014, to be with the love of his life.
Homer was preceded in death by his wife Diane Blackwell, his father Homer Blackwell Sr. and his mother, Gertrude Blackwell.
He is survived by his sisters, Linda Blackwell and Susie Wagner, as well as, many nieces and nephews.
Life will never be the same without our hero and role model to guide us through the ups and downs that life bestows upon us.
We love you Dad and Pop.

Dad, I chose to celebrate this time of the year knowing our lord blessed your prayers and united you with Mom! I miss and love you with all my heart. Trevor has lived up to Blackwell legacy and blessed us with a boy and another on the way! Taylor has blessed us with "Ruby", my second Angel Pie. Trev and Tebs still argue about being #1. I know Heaven is filled with everlasting happiness and hope when looking down on us you're proud. One thing that you and Mom taught me was to cherish my family. You and mom would be so proud of the family bond that we have with our children and grandchildren.

Dad,
Can't believe so many years have passed without your presence. Life has taken a few twist and turns, some of which you would be proud of and some you would not approve of.
You values you taught me remain, the memories you left me with will always be talked about. I will continue to hold on to each day I was able to spend with you and Mom learning what family should be, love that was unconditional and stay true to the individual you taught me to be. You taught me to be that humble person and to never forget where I came from. I love you Dad and one day I will see you again!

Dad, Eleven years ago January 30, our lord called you home. I've cried and missed you every second since, however I' m happy your pain is long gone and your with mom in Heaven with our lord. Love and miss you!

I will miss Homer (my big brother ) for a long time . He was always a good friend to me , even though we fought like brothers . There was always a lesson to be learned. I wish i could've been there to say good-bye , he was a true friend. My heart goes out to the my family. J.D.
