Janie and I were very sorry to hear of Howard's passing. Howard was a very kind, witty, and caring man. I knew Howard through the Forum and through the Thursday morning men's group at church. When I joined, Howard was very friendly and kind, and went out of his way to make me feel welcome. As other new people joined, I saw him be just as welcoming and caring to them. I will miss his wisdom, humor and cheerful smile on Thursday mornings. I was glad to have met him and have him be a part of my life.

Oh yes—-we were definitely beneficiaries of Howard’s curiosity, enthusiasm and magnanimity. He’s bright smile will be so missed! ~Lynn and Ben Young
