Hulda Tucker Obituary

Hulda Marie (Mixon) Tucker, 79, passed away on June 11, 2016, at a local hospital. Hulda was born on August 6, 1936 in Foley, Florida to Nat and Susie Mixon. She graduated from Taylor County High School, and worked in Civil Service, after a short career in the Navy.

She married John Tucker on July 2, 1966 in Orlando, Florida. They moved to Colorado Springs in 1976. She is survived by her husband, John, brother George Mixon and sister-in-law Donna Mixon, nephews, Gary (Brenda) Frasher, Dean (Cindi) Mixon, Scott (Lori) Mixon, and niece, Patti (John ) House.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Dean, Jerry, and Kenny, and sisters Wanda and Patricia.

Hulda will be remembered as a giving and gracious lady who loved the Broncos, reading, trips to Cripple Creek, and traveling. She will be missed by her family and her many friends.

The family would like to thank the Pikes Peak Hospice and Palliative Care for their devotion to Hulda's comfort during her final transition. in accordance with Hulda's wishes, cremation has taken place without public visitation or burial services.
