Hunter Norris Obituary

Hunter Wade Norris, age 9, of Crestview, was received into the arms of Jesus Sunday, March 17, 2013. He was born July 26, 2003 in Fort Walton Beach.

Hunter is survived by his loving parents, Wade and Angela Norris; two sisters, Erin and Riley Norris; maternal grandparents, Verlin and Mary Lou Merkel; paternal grandparents, Ruth and Curtis Schofield; paternal grandpa, Robert Norris; maternal great-grandpa, Elmer Myrick; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, caregivers, and people whose lives he has forever touched.

Visitation is 6 until 8 p.m. Friday, March 22 at Davis-Watkins Crestview Memorial, 492 East Pine Avenue, Crestview. A Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Saturday, March 23, 2013 at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church with Reverend Father John Cayer as celebrant.

You may send flowers, or in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, 550 Adams Drive, Crestview, Florida 32536.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Okaloosa County EMS, North Okaloosa Medical Center, Sacred Heart Hospital of Pensacola, Nemours Clinic of Pensacola, ABC Pediatrics, Caring Hearts, Richbourg School in Crestview, and Silver Sands School in Fort Walton Beach for their love and care given to Hunter.

I'm so sorry to hear of Hunter's passing. He definitely lit the room up with his presence. He touched my life in the short time I knew him. Hunter and Tigger will always have a special place in my heart. Thank you for sending me the picture. Heaven certainly received a special angel!!

I was very sad to hear of Hunters passing. I worked at ABC Pediatrics and moved last year to Illinois. He was such a precious little angel and always brought a smile to our faces when he came in to visit. May God bring comfort and peace and Bless you guys.
