Hyacinth Fluegel Obituary

Hyacinth M. Fluegel, age 79 of Peyton, CO., passed away at her home with her family. Hyacinth was born January 2, 1927 in Shepton, PA., daughter to Andrew and Elizabeth Kavilla. On May 24, 1948 Hyacinth married Richard Fluegal in New York, NY. Hyacinth is survived by her husband, Richard; sons: Rick, Tom, Jim, Mike; and daughter Denise; ten grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in by her parents, Andrew and Elizabeth; two sisters and her brother. Her sons: Bill and Gerard, also preceded her in death. Hyacinth spent her time caring for her family, always putting them first. They were the love of her life. As her family grew she found new love for her grandchildren. Loving, teaching and caring for her family with her tender touch was her daily love. All looked to her everyday for guidance. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Hyacinth was not only a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, but, she was also a flower that will always grow in every life that she touched. Graveside Services will be held Thursday, August 24, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at the Peyton Cemetery in Peyton. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1445 N. Union #100, Colorado Springs, CO 80909.

Hyacinth was a great lady to know, learn from and to sit and listen to. For those of us who really got to know her she will always be in our hearts as much as when she was here with us. Jason and I are greatful that she was such a great grandma to all our children. Love you all. The Gowen Family
