grandma ida was amazing i will miss her stories so much, and not to mention the sarcasm that was always perfect for the situation, she always knew what to say and even if she didnt she would still say SOMETHING, even if it had nothing to do with what you were talking about. its going to be a different world without her being around and she will be missed by all her family and anyone and everyone that has ever met her.

Grandma was definitely one of a kind. She was the most random person I have ever, and will ever know. No matter what mood you're in she could always put a smile on your face with her crazy stories. She loved her family more than anything in the world. She has made a huge impact on my life. She's the most amazing person ever. I love her more than words can express. The word sunshine will never be just a word to me anymore. Now that she's gone, always looking down on our family I know that she'll forever be my sunshine. I love you grandma and I will think about you everyday. Life without you're crazy wittiness will never be the same.

Ida was a totally awesome person. When I married her son in 1984 I was 28 years old and my own Mom had died when I was 21. Ida became like a mom to me and she called me the daughter she never had. We shopped together and became garage sales addicts together. After Mike and I divorced, she and I remained friends. She helped me take care of the kids and everyone knew she was born to be a grandma. I loved her and I will surely miss her spirit and wit.
