so sorry for your loss. Cinderella has always been my favorite Disney production.
She is the most beautiful Disney heroine both in voice and animation.
May Ilene RIP forever. She will be in our hearts for all time.

To the Woods family and friends. I would like to ecnourage you to turn to our Heavenly Father when you feel that the pain is to much to bear and know that he will give you comfort when you feel you can't go on, because he will never leave you. I found the following scripture to be very comforting. Isaiah 41:10, I would encourage you to read it whenever you feel you need that extra help to get thru the day. - Psalm 65:2, Romans 15:4.

Sorry for your loss,I watched Cinderella as I was growing up, and my daughter enjoys watching it too.As a Bible student I would like to share a soothing thought. "Revelation 21:4 God promise us that He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more,neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore".

Ahhhh, I can still picture Cinderella twirling to the beautiful song, I danced with you Once Upon A Dream. I could almot start to cry. Her voice made Cinderella truly come to life.

My all time favorite Disney movie! Her voice was so beautiful, peaceful, and alluring! May God hold her in His sweet arms, so she may sing sweetly to Him, forever! God Bless you! Thank you for the beautiful memories of my childhood!

I dragged my mother to see that movie 7 times to downtown Seattle (no strip mall theaters then) when I was a little girl. I will always remember her fondly.

I will always cherish the memories of her voice in Cinderella.This was my first movie as a small farm girl. I was in awe and I still love this movie.She is now a star in heaven.My condolences. Stella in TX

I was privileged to be on stage with Ilene (picked from audience), on the breakfast club radio show, back in about 1950 or '51; and wondered what became of her career. I will always remember that exciting day, as I was a young teen. My Condolences to all her family.

I am in my 30s & Cinderella is still one of my all time favorite movies. That beautiful voice will always be etched in my mind.
At a time such as this, treasure one of Gods precious gifts to us, memories. Allow them to comfort you and know that one day soon, we will no longer have to experience such pain brought upon us by our 1st human parents. At his Fathers request, Jesus gave his life for us so that we might have everlasting life in a new world. That was Gods most precious gift! So live for the day when we can say: "Life Without End At Last!" Isaiah 25:11

I am so sorry for the loss of a woman with such a beautiful voice. Many young girls dream of having such an angelic voice like Ilene had!

How wonderful that Walt Disney saw Ms. Woods' talent and brought her to the world through Cinderella. She has touched so many lives. Surely she is singing in the angel choirs in heaven. Deepest sympathy to her family. Hold her close to your heart by treasuring the memories.

My mother always said that she got my name from the credits at the end of a movie when I was born in 1956--so Ilene Woods must have been the person that so impressed her!! Thanks for sharing your name. Gods blessings to your family. Ilene Baker Gohmert

"Cinderella" was my daughter's 'first' favorite Disney princess when she was barely three and still remains a favorite. We just returned from a trip to Disneyland where she got to meet Cinderella. What a beautiful voice and a beautiful legacy Ilene Woods has left us all.

I am 64 years old and I remember fondly "Cinderella" that was probably my favorite movie by Disney. I fell in love with "Cinderella" always thinking I would find my Prince Charming. As I remember Cinderella's face before she went to the ball, and Ms. Woods face it almost looks like Ms. Woods. That golden voice is forever silent. My most sincere sympathy to Ms. Wood's family.

This beautiful lady brought such joy to so many people with her angelic voice...just last week I went on YouTube and played "Sing Sweet Nightingale." When 'Cinderella' came out on DVD, I ran to the store to buy it, not for my little daughter, but for myself, and I am 45 years old now! I cannot imagine my life without the beautiful sound of Mrs. Woods' lovely voice as part of my happy memories. God bless her and all her family as they mourn her passing.

You were such a wonderful lady to grant the public with your voice, and your talent. You will be missed by millions. God bless you and your family. And God speed. You are in heaven with GOD and his angels. I hope your singing for the Lord and everyone up there. I will remember you and everything you did for me, when I was alot younger.
