It is with deepest sadness to announce the passing of Mr. In Sang Ko on 7/22/2022 Mr Ko was born in Seoul, Korea on 5/9/1935 and immigrated in
April of 1972 to his new home town Colorado Springs, where everyone made him feel like family. Most of his career was as a carpenter at Riviera Cabinets, where with strong work ethics, he performed any job given to him with diligence and quickly became a great example to many on his teams. He enjoyed fishing at Eleven Mile, drinking with friends, and time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his Father: Kyong Duk Ko Mother: Kyong Joon Yon and 2 brothers of Seoul, Korea and Sister: Mu Cha Studley of Colorado Springs.
He leaves behind his Wife: Ok Pun Ko Brother: Jae Sang Ko, Sister in law: Myung J Ko and brother in law: Dennis Darl Studley.
Three daughters and son-in-laws: Okyong (Sukhee) Cho, Jieun (Donald) Goodwin, Sarah Ko and Joseph Nosavan.
Three grandchildren: Ellen Hicks (USMA 2017), Christopher Hicks, Daniel Cho (USMA 2023).
Two great grandchildren: Amelia Yehshin Hicks and Chris Hicks Jr (10/22).
We will all miss him dearly. Mr In Sang Ko will be entered into his final resting place on Friday 9/9 at Evergreen Cemetery, Colorado Springs, CO following a private ceremony. For information, please contact [email protected]
