Inka Heidelberg Obituary

Inka Heidelberg passed away as gracefully as she lived life on May 18, 2015. She was born October 12, 1928 in East Prussia. She immigrated to the United States in 1950 and came to Colorado Springs on 1955. She married the love of her life, Charles Heidelberg in 1956.

She is survived by her daughter, Debbie (Garry) Zieske of Gilbert, AZ and son, Jim (Susan) Heidelberg of Colorado Springs, CO and her grandchildren Ryan and Kori Heidelberg, Joleen (Shawn) Conver and Brett Zieske, as well as her great-grandchildren Mylie and Caleb Conver.

Inka worked for many years at the Colorado Springs Supply Company as financial manager. After the unexpected passing of her husband Charles in 1979, she returned to Germany in 1980 to work for Ideal Standard. She returned to the United States to be close to Family in 1996.

Inka lived a full life and traveled the United States as well as the world. She enjoyed dining at the Embassy Club in Bonn, Germany with the many friends she made after returning to Germany. She loved silversmithing, rock hounding, oil painting and "working on the house with dad". She will be sorely missed.

A private family service is planned. Contributions can be made to Pikes Peak Hospice.
