Irene P. Klein Obituary

Irene P. Klein passed away May 15, 2015. Irene was born to Minnie (Wilamena) P. Damrow Kleckner and Oliver C. Kleckner on November 12, 1913 on the Kleckner farm near Firth, Nebraska. She was the youngest of four, all who have preceded her in death. She had been living at Medalion Retirement Community in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

She was joined in marriage to Norman E. Klein of Firth, Nebraska on February 14, 1934. There were no children born to this union.

A short service will be held at Evergreen Funeral Home located at 1830 E. Fountain Blvd. on May 19, 2015 at 11 AM. A private burial will take place at Fort Logan National Cemetery along side her beloved husband, Norman.

Memorials may be made to Silver Key, 2250 Bott Avenue, Colorado Springs, CO 80904 or Medalion Retirement Community, 1719 East Bijou Street, Colorado Springs, CO 80909.

Aunt Irene was a fun-loving person dedicated to her spouse Norman and enjoyed a good laugh. On behalf of her sister Leona's family, Glen and Robert wish Irene God-speed and may you rest in peace. Our thoughts and prayers also go out to Sharon and Alfred who lovingly and graciously looked after Aunt Irene and her affairs the last several years.
