Iris Joan Faulkner Obituary

Iris Joan Faulkner, a longtime Colorado Springs resident, passed away peacefully in Colorado Springs on May 23, 2017. She was 90. She was born on August 10, 1926 to William and Catherine Rademacher in Kenosha, Wisconsin, and married the love of her life, Richard H. Faulkner in 1949. They lived on the family dairy farm in Illinois before moving to Colorado Springs in 1958, where they ran a successful McDonald's Franchise, spanning the next 30 years. She had 3 children. She was devoted to her family and enjoyed travelling, bowling, watching sporting events, and visiting Cripple Creek with her family and friends. Iris will be greatly missed by all.

She was preceded in death by her husband Richard, son Gary, and five siblings.

She is survived by daughter Karen Faulkner of Colorado Springs, son David (Devon) Faulkner of Woodland Park, sister Joann Denny of California, and numerous relatives spread throughout the United States. No services are planned.

My thoughts are with Iris Faulkner's family during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there is a hope for our loved ones lost in death can be reassuring.
