Irvin Lewis Olian

Irvin Lewis Olian of Colorado Springs, age 91, passed away Monday, April 24th, 2023. Born 3/18/1931 in Akron, Ohio, son of late Carl and Mary Olian. He was predeceased by his wife Anna.
Irv, as he preferred to be called, served with honor in both the US Army and US Air Force. A veteran of both the Korean and Vietnam, he was awarded the Vietnam Service medal with two bronze stars. He was also awarded the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal and the Good Conduct Medal Clasp.
Post military Irv worked selling furniture and enjoyed traveling and dancing into his nineties. He was a big supporter of literacy and public libraries.
Irvin is survived by his loving nephew and nieces, Michael and Shirley Deverey, Lisa and Larry Spiwak and Melissa Kass. He was preceded in death by his two sisters, Shirley Olian and Linda Kass.
Per his wishes, his remains will be interned at Pikes Peak National Cemetery. Wednesday May 24, at 11:00am. A small reception will follow the Military Honors at the Satellite Hotel Banquet Room. Donations can be made in his honor to the Pike's Peak Library District.
