I had the distinct pleasure of serving on the First United Methodist Church Foundation Board with Perry. Perry was a friend to everyone he met. He stood at the heart of all that is good. First United Methodist Church lost of cherished friend. The kindness and support he unfailingly extended to everyone at our church proved a great gift over the years. What a joy and privilege to have known and served with this genuine man. He will be missed but his spirit abides.

Knew Perry when he lived in Ann Arbor. Lost track of him, apparently when he moved to Colorado Springs. Fond memories of his friendship. I wish all the family remaining well.
