Jack Reese Obituary

Jack Reese of Manitou Springs, Colorado, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2005. Jack was born on March 14, 1930, in Cleveland, Ohio. He received his B.A. from Kent State and his M.A. from Antioch College. He served four years in the military in the Intelligence Service. For many years he worked for the Louis Heinz Company in their hydraulics division. He and his first wife, Judy raised their five children in Philadelphia, PA. In the early 80's, Jack followed a dream and moved to Cripple Creek, Colorado. He worked as a therapist at the Pikes Peak Mental Health Center. Betty Burgess and Jack were married June 26, 1987. They traveled extensively and enjoyed many happy years together. Jack will be remembered as a kind loving and devoted husband, father and friend. He loved nature, was an avid sportsman and a fine athlete. He leaves his wife, Betty; five children; four grandchildren; and eight adoring step-grandchildren. Services will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on 21st and West Colorado on Tuesday, October 25, at 1:00 p.m. At his request, his remains will be buried in Twin Lakes, Colorado.

Uncle John was a dear friend and role model to me in my childhood. I will miss his laughter and infectious personality! I am a better person for having him as an uncle.
