I just now heard about Jack. It seems I just saw him not too long ago.


My heart goes out to you - I can't imagine your loss. If you need to talk or want some company you know where to find me. My prayers and love are with you and your family.

Thank you to all for your love and support. It has helped though a very dark time. Many have asked on what assistance they can provide during this time. As a family, we are respectfully requesting that any funds that would go towards travel, hotel fees, cards, flowers, gifts or any other accommodations be replaced with a small contribution towards the trust fund of Brooklyn Mary Ringler. Dike and Mary, it is these times that words seem so small and few. We mourn your loss as it is something that any parent should not have to experience. I wish I could remove some of that pain in your heart for just a moment so you would get a slight reprieve. It is sad when drugs win. As a recovering addict for almost 10 years, I am grateful I was able to get help when I was 17 and not have a choice to walk out. I want to encourage everyone who is struggling to ask for help, to refuse to let the drugs win. Life is short, and everyone deserves to live a healthy, sober life. Prayers to Jacks daughter, family, and friends. RIP with Quinn

I am so moved by this beautiful tribute to someone whose life was brief but his love, deep. It seems that those who are sensitive struggle the most...I am deeply saddened by Jack's passing and by the path that brought him here, but I am so grateful that he left a beautiful piece of himself behind. I cannot attend the Memorial (will be out of town for Thanksgiving) but send lots of love to Mary and Jack's family and friends. May the memories make you smile at this time of loss, Tamara Brody
