I remember when I first met Jacob how easily he laughed. And when he laughed, I laughed and well everybody laughed! I know he is finally at peace and that we will see him again.
He will be missed. God bless you all during this time of sorrow.

It is difficult to think of our families "Jackie" as Jacob, but that was his wish. He was very beloved as a nephew and cousin of the Schooler family. He will live in our hearts forever.
I'm sure he is giving everyone in Heaven a lot of happiness.
We will miss you greatly!
Your cousin,
Caroline Schooler Cosgrove

He knew all of your love, and now he is in a realm where unconditional love reigns. Brothers can be tricky, but they are ours, and we'll miss them. xo

Ive known Jake since grade school and later worked with him at SCE. Experienced some crazy outings that could best be desribed as something written for the Hangover Movie series. He knew best how to enjoy life's pleasures. May he rest in peace.

I remember working at Edison in about 1971 with "Jack" as we called him then. Jack loved to prank as has been said, more than anyone I've ever known. It was truly comical, the things that he came up with to keep things fun on the job. Once we were having a water fight at Edison and Jack was holding the door shut to keep from getting soaked. When he finally opened the door, without saying a word, it was the boss who came through the door and was soaked by a large bucket of water. We all had a great laugh. He had many funny little sayings to lighten the day and usually a joke or two. I haven't seen Jack for years but have fond memories of a really clever and fun friend. The smile in the picture above is a telling example of Jack's fun personality. I am saddened to read of his death at such a young age. I offer my condolences to all who know and love Jack. May God comfort you in your loss.

Jacob (jackie) was my best friend. He was kind, generous and above all fun. He lived his life to the fullest and enjoyed every minute. He had two passions - Drag Racing & his children. Anywhere he would go he would make lifetime friends. We often wondered which of us would be the first to go. Jacob, you must have taken a " short cut" to beat me! The last time I was with Jacob was 18 months ago before I left for Australia , but we talked on the phone quite often, with he never saying how ill he was. You will be missed.
