Jacob Leland Strong, 33, of Colorado Springs, Colorado passed away unexpectedly on November 22, 2022 in Parker, Colorado.
He was an electrician and a recovery specialist at Pathfinders in Aurora, Colorado.
He was born on January 11, 1989 in Colorado Springs, Colorado to Jesse and Deborah (Donlon) Strong. Jacob was a 2008 graduate of Wasson High School, where he enjoyed automotive repair, playing football, and Spanish. Soon after graduation, he joined the Donlon family trade and became an electrician. Jacob was a Colorado Native. He was passionate about music, going to concerts, and was an avid Colorado Avalanche fan. He had an undeniable love for all animals, especially dogs. Overall, Jacob was devoted to his family and raising his two young sons.
Jacob is survived by his wife, Janae Strong of Steamboat Springs, Colorado; his sons, Zane and Ezra Strong; his mother, Deborah Strong; his brother, Jeremiah (Mayggun) Laster; his sisters, Jamilee (Jimmy) Nowak, Jessica Strong (and her two cats), and Katie (Joshua) Peters; his nephews, David, Dominick, and Joseph; his nieces, Bianca, Brooklynn, Holly, and Ellie; his father-in-law, Leon Wittner; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Strong; his grandparents, Joe and Joan Donlon, and Nelson and Ellen Strong; his former fiancé, Sara Wittner; and his mother-in-law, Gina Wittner.
Jacob will be best remembered for his wonderful sense of humor, his generosity and love of family.
While we have all lost a magnificent man, heaven has gained an angel.
