Jim crossed the rainbow bridge October 4th. He is now with his wife of 50+ years Sylvia and his youngest son Joseph. Jim enjoyed Hunting, muzzleloader shooting, wood working, ballooning, gold panning, fishing, black smithing, and more.
He enjoyed helping greet people and answering the phone at the Sr Center where he also learned beadwork from his friend Charlotte. He was a board member for the Eagles Club which he greatly enjoyed as well as accompanying his friend Ruben walking around Memorial Park Lake and other activities.
For many years he curated military museums in the States and Korea. After retirement he volunteered at the Junior Marksman program for the Olympics and volunteered at the open shooting range on Ft Carson.
Jim leaves behind his son James, daughter Brenda, Brother Don, sister Juanita Allan (née Bush), three nephews, five grandchildren as well as several great and great great grandchildren.
