James David "Jimmy" Callahan, passed away on May 14 at Parkview Hospital in Pueblo. He was born on November 3, 1961 to Gerald a Maxine Callahan in Denver. He is survived by sisters Jeanne (John) Smith, Theresa (Randy) Edwards, Kathy (Kent Ritchie) Windler, brothers Thomas (Debbie), Robert (Kim), Joseph (Gloria), John, numerous family members and his beloved dog Abby. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Ronald. Services will be held on June 14, 11am, at Aberdeen Baptist Church, 301 Cleveland St, Pueblo, CO and will be live-streamed at aberdeenpueblo.org. I worked with Jim out at the Air Force Academy. We are both in side John Hall. I had the fifth floor and he had the sixth floor and then I moved over to the cadet gym and we talked to occasionally and everything but then we just kind of lost contact Knows look trying to look him up. See if I could get a hold of him and I saw this I´m deeply sorry to his family and everything but I also lost my daughter on May 16, 2025. He was a very great guy. He had a heart of gold.

I´m saddened to hear of Jimmy´s passing. I will never forget his smiling face and positive energy that greeted colleagues and customers alike every day at the USAF Academy Civilian Personnel Office. My sincere condolences for your loss.

Jimmy was such a bright light in our USAFA work "family". There are so many good memories of our times together. My condolences to his entire family. We will all miss him.
