In Loving Memory
The sound of your voice is now gone. Try as I can, can't remember it. I have pictures of your smile, but I have forgotten how that smile made people feel. Your personality could take over a room, now that room has an empty feeling to it. My heart once full of optimism; has a gray pall hanging over. The final lesson I learned from you was how to move on. It is a lesson I haven't mastered yet. Struggling might be a better description of how that is going. You were taken six years ago. I wasn't ready then, still not ready now to let you go. You weren't ready then, so you fought both bravely and gracefully. Simply put, the world was a better place with you in it. You are still missed by a lot of people, family and friends included. I believe you are in a better place, enjoy it; we will see you again soon. Love always, Dad
