Bonnie, Brian and Amy,
I received an email from my mom with the news....a tear came to my eye....I had such great memories of hanging out at "The Colonna's" and your dad (husband) always called me 'Sunshine!' He was so warm and welcoming....prayers to you, and I am sure the angels were singing as he entered heaven! What a wonderful wonderful man!

HI Bonnie, I really appreciate Brian contacting me on his return to Denver. Needless to say I was saddened by the news of Jim's death. What a good man. I have some great memories of fun times at your social gatherings. Holly always had nice things to say about Jim when visiting your home. I hope to touch base with you when I travel to VA Beach in the next month. Regards and thoughts to Brian and Amy. Jellie Gallegos

Bonnie, Brian and Amy,
I am so sorry to hear of Jim's death. I have such fond memories of Christmas afternoons with you and the Bergs, and Jim will always be our family hero the Christmas Eve of the big snow storm in Colorado Springs when he transported Brian and Jerry from our house to the Bergs after 10:00 so that those two little boys could know that Santa didn't skip them because they were at Aunt Barbara's house! We tell it every time that snow and Christmas come up in the same conversation -- for those who haven't heard the story, of course.
Jim was a faithful friend to Pete, and by extension to all of us even after distance separated us all.
My prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Hi Bonnie, Brian, and Amy,
I was saddened to open the Gazette and see Jim's name. I had thought about you recently and wondered how you were doing. It's been quite a few years since I last saw you and Jim together at St. Peter's in Monument, Bonnie. You were telling me about your upcoming move. I used to bump into Jim on occasion when I worked at the Oncology Clinic near Memorial. He was one fine, gentle man and you were a friendly and fun couple. How he will be missed. We send our sincere condolences to all the family.

I'm not sure if this is the same Jimmy Colonna that was my neighbor when we were kids. He had a brother names Richie and Mother named Mary. We had some great times as children and many many fights. I remember the good times. My sympathies to his family. Please write to my email if this is my old friend from Exmore. Thanks, Jeanette Williams Warnick
