James Conway Obituary

In loving memory of James Orva Conway, 75, who passed away in Colorado Springs, CO. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Jim was born in Cleveland, OH to James and Ethel Conway. He enlisted in the Army in 1949 and was stationed in Colorado Springs in 1950. While stationed in Colorado Springs he met and married his wife, Billie. Jim served in Korea from 1951 to 1953 and continued his military career until his retirement in 1969. Jim and his family settled in Littleton, CO after his retirement. Jim and Billie lived there for seventeen years prior to moving to Colorado Springs twenty years ago. Jim is survived by his wife, Billie, his daughter Deborah Hoover of Colorado Springs, his grandson Nathan Hoover of Colorado Springs, and his granddaughter Rebecca Hoover of Joplin, MO. He was preceded in death by his son Michael Conway. A Memorial Service will be June 29, 2006 at 10 a.m. at Sunrise United Methodist Church, 2655 Briargate Blvd, Colorado Springs.
