James "Jim" Desautel

June 1, 2025
Jim died on June 1, 2025 after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was born in San Fernando, California and spent most of his adult life working for the Air Force. He leaves his wife, Cindy, of 53 years, two sons, Ryan and Andrew, and daughters, Jennifer and Nicole. He was a proud "Papa" to grandchildren Eleanor, Jaxen, Liam, and Kyle. He is also survived by his mother, Anna and sister, Connie. Jim was especially grateful for the many medical professionals that cared for him at UC North Oncology and Compassus Hospice. A funeral mass will be held at St. Peter's Catholic Church at 55 Jefferson St., Monument, Colorado on Friday, June 20, 2025 with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, please consider lending a helping hand to someone in need. Jim believed strongly in giving back in random acts of kindness.
