Thinking of Jimmy´s sister Cindy today. Sending love and strength.

My Dear Tommy,Cindy,Gary and Lola.....I am in such shock to learn of Jimmy's death in June. Out of touch with so many and did not get the news till tonite. Jimmy....was a great friend to me and always listened, even after we had ended so many years ago. I spoke to him in Decemeber of 09 and he sounded well. So so sad to learn of this. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Thank-you Jimmy...RIP

To the family of Jimmy Duhon, I am so sorry for your lose, Jimmy new my husband Pan-head Rick Moss. He was one of the first people Rick wanted me to meet, when we moved here in 1982.And then Rick and I where in the bike accident in 1996 when he died.So to his whole family i am sorry, Now they can ride together in heaven, and watch down on us.May God be with you all. Jimmy was my friend, my hero! He never hesitated to lend a hand, a shoulder to cry on, if you were sad he'd tell a joke to make you laugh. The following poem was written for my fiance who died unexpectedly last year, I believe it speaks for Jimmy too:
"Don't weep for me, for I am free
I am rolling down the highway God
laid for me, with the wind in my hair, the adrenaline rushes in, when I heard him call I was leaving it all.
So I jumped on that beautiful machine.
It was the bike of my dreams.
I am sorry I could not stay another day to laugh, to love, to work, to play. The tasks left undone must stay that way, but rest assure I am at peace now everyday. If my parting has left a void, Please fill it with remembered joy. A friendship shared, a laugh, a sweet kiss. Ah these things I also will miss. Don't burden yourselves with sorrow. I wish for you all the sunshine's of tomorrow. I assure you, my life's been full. I savored much, Great friends, kick a__ times and Possibly a loved one touched. And perhaps my time seemed too brief. Don't lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift your hearts and share with me. My time has come leaving you all with memories. So, in honor of me smile for I am set free!"

Well Jimmy I am sure you are much happier now, which is very comforting thought for me. I wish there could have been a way to say goodbye to you. I have lost a very good friend and was fortunate to have met a very kind person that you were. I still am in a kind of shock mode, or maybe its a denial thing. And I keep thinking you are just out of town and you will be rolling in any day now. But your probably going to play Bush League up there with your mom and my mom and dad!
My thoughts and prayers are also with your family and friends, who also have lost a special person in their life.
