James Eivins Obituary

James Wesley Eivins passed away peacefully Saturday, June 29, 2013. Jim was born in Madison County, Iowa, on September 22, 1925, to the late Ray and Hazel Eivins. In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by two daughters, Patricia Noble and Jamie Schimmelpfenneg. Jim is survived by two brothers, Earl Eivins and John Eivins; a sister, Donna Plocher; five children: Larry Eivins, Gary Eivins, Pamela Blashe, Charlie Ihlenfeld, LeAnn Eivins; 19 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. In respect for our father's informal preferences, all who wish to pay their respects are welcome to visit with family at his home of 50 years on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 between 4:00pm and 6:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pikes Peak Hospice or a charity of choice in memory of Jim.
