It's hard to believe Jim has been gone so long. We still miss his sense of humor. Seeing him and Claudette at church was a highlight of our week. I'm sure he's still making the angles laugh.

Hello Fucci family. I am one of the many kids that loved Mr. Fucci for a sub at our school. I would always go to his room and we would talk about all of the things he did before he became a sub. It was always fun and he would shake my hand and do this death grip and it would send me into this complete laughture that I couldn't stop. I am so sad to here that he us gone and I am always praying for you guys. All of us in district 38 loved him and will always miss and remember him.

Mr. Fucci was a wonderful man. He Had a kind, loving soul and was sucha a great person. It's a shame that he had to leave this world so early. He was a Great substitute teacher and touched lives of many. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Mr. Fucci touched my life in many ways. He was the best substitute teacher you could ever ask for. He will always remain in my heart as one of the best substitute teachers I've ever had. He always used to say to the kids during class that were talking, "Don't mess with the Fooch!" and smile. Every time I think of that I'll always remember that and smile. Rest in peace, Mr. Fucci!

It somehow doesn't seem fair that Jim had to leave so early--but they say that "the good depart early".I remember meeting Jim around 70 years ago and even as a child he always had a positive attitude,a smile, and a desire to help others. He was a good musician too and there are many fond memories of our band in Asbury Park.Haven't seen the "fooch" for years but we occasioally wrote and i don't think any man loved his Wife and Fanily as much as he did.One could easily write a book about this exceptional guy and his accomplishments. Our Thoughts and Prayers go out to Claudette and your Family.

How shocked we were to hear of Jim Fucci's death. As the 50th reunion of Plymouth Teachers College (PSU) drew closer, Claudette once again volunteered her time to help bring us closer together and took the time to build a Facebook page for the Class of 61 on July 27 - excited about having her grandchildren with her and Jim for the past two weeks. All was well. From NH you could feel the love and support of a wonderful family. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you, Claudette, and your family. Judy and John Ludgate

I was a USAF Officer assigned to NASA FCOB from 1967 to 1971. Jim was a Ford Aerospace Contractor also assigned to FCOB. His knowledge and willingness to help me transition to NASA and the Apollo objectives was invaluable. We became good friends, and I greatly valued his friendship. Later, he moved to JPL and I was tranferred to SAMSO in El Segundo. Johnny Temple and I visited Jim and watched New Years Day Football games at his house in La Cananda in 1971. I cannot tell you how saddened I was to hear about Jim's death. I know he will be sorely missed by all who knew him. He was a great guy.

Claudette,

Margaret and I were shocked when we got Maureen’s note and we are very sorry for your loss. Jim was a good friend, a role model, and a positive inspiration for everyone that he touched. While you guys were in Clear Lake, we fondly remember Jim’s friendship, his friendly humor, Peppers from his plants, his recipes, visits to your place on Tiki Island, and his always quick smile. We will all miss him more than words can express. Our hearts and prayers go out to you and your family in this difficult time.
