I am so sorry and saddened to hear of Brad's passing. I was friends with Brad and his brothers, Karl and Tim many years ago when we were just kids in Kirksville. Stayed all night at their home many times. Lost contact with all of them over the years but have many fond memories of Brad and his whole family. My sincerest sympathies to his wife, Beth, and children. I'm sure he will be deeply missed.

Hi Beth. I keep thinking of Brad. Wanted to share something. Whenever I called him, he would answer the phone and say, "Brad Hardman". I would then say something such as "hi darlin". Then he would say "hey sugar britches". We'd just get to laughin so hard before we could even talk about one of our cases! Still laugh when I think about that. Sheesh I had fun with Brad. Anyway, a funny story. I hope you and the kids are well.

My sincere thoughts and prayers are with all of you. As a client of Brad's, I found him to be thoughtful and respectful and incredibly fair. Although always businness like, he did on ocassions allow his witty humor sneak out with a wise crack and a chukle. He helped me and my family and I will always be grateful for his patience with me. May God bless and comfort your family- Julia

We are deeply sorry for the loss of Brad's family. He was opposing counsel on our case, but he was friendly and courteous and we are saddend by his passing. We know he is a great loss to his family, friends, community and so many others that he has touched in his short time here. He will be missed and thought of often.

Brad was a fine lawyer and exceptionally courteous. I was always happy when I found he was going to be defense counsel on a case of mine, although I knew that he would leave no stone unturned. He also had a puckish sense of humor.

I did settlement conferences with Brad over many years and always enjoyed working with him. I am so sad that both he and Bud Wittman are now gone. I liked and respected them both. He will certainly be missed. My deepest condolences to the family.

I worked with Brad professionally and always enjoyed his company. His insights were spot-on, and yet he knew how to laugh well and hard. We'll miss him dearly.

Beth,
The last time I saw you was our last class reunion. I was fortuate enough to meet James then. I am glad you brought James to meet all of us Motown clowns. He fit right in with his spontaneous, off the cuff wit. You and your family are in my prayers.

i lived with brad on their farm just south of green castle, mo. during the summer of 1977. we worked hard putting up small, green bales of hay that weighed as much as we did. we also looked after the cattle herd they were building up as well as the farrowing sows. it was truly a great summer (not all of it was spent working) and wished we'd have stayed in touch. he was a hard worker with a playful, ornery side. i've never forgotten that summer, the hardman ranch or brad.

I am so sorry to hear the news about Brad. Brad and I were very good friends going back to junior high through high school. We lost contact after high school and I regret that we had not stayed in touch. I know if we would have crossed paths these past several years, nothing would have changed between us. He was a great person back then and I know that did not change. I know he will be missed.
My deepest condolences

I only knew Brad for a little over a year, but I worked in the same building with him and saw him almost everyday. He always knew how to make us laugh and was a very nice person. He will be missed! My condolences to his family and my prayers are with them during this difficult time.

I worked for Brad at Wittman & McCord. He was an extremely intelligent man and down to earth. He was awesome to work for. I would get so tickled at him when he would make a joke because his laugh just drew you in and his whole face would turn red as he was laughing so hard. He was a really good guy. My heart goes out to Katie, Beth and Andrew and to the whole family.

Brad was wonderful person, so happy and funny. My funniest memory was when we did the hokey pokey at a club and Brad and Mary were both putting a step in when it was supposed to be step out. We laughed so hard in fun. To Beth, Kathy and all his family and friends we offer our fond memories and sad condolences. Dana & Mike
