My thoughts are with the Hill family. I know he will be missed. Dr. Hill was a kind and generous man. He was a skilled Physician, an involved Father, and a loving Husband. He leaves an example of what a good man should be.

I fondly remember the many years of going to the Hill's house and being greeted warmly by Dr. Hill. Memories of on trips to Lake Tahoe, the boat shows in Oakland, T.P.ing the Gilmore house - oops, I let the cat out of the bag and hanging out at the homestead watching tennis. I appreciated the times he encouraged me to set goals in my life. He touched my life in many ways and my life is richer for that. He will be missed I know by many and I'm incredibly grateful that I had the opportunity to have known him in my lifetime. My deepest sympathies, prayers and thoughts go out to each of you!

I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Hill in the Surgery Clinic at Kaiser Permanente, many years ago. I always looked forward to working with him ; it was a pleasure to discuss politics with him (as we were in the conservative minority at our workplace !!), his experiences as an "extra" during the golden age of Hollywood, and golf. He was very generous with his knowledge and I learned a great deal from him.I appreciated his calm and reassuring manner and his sense of humour. It was always a fun day when Jim Hill was on duty. When we each went our separate ways I missed working with and seeing him. My thoughts are with his family whom he spoke of often and loved dearly...he was very proud of his children.
