I did not know Jim as well as i should have. He started and led a team of Lockheed personnel that did something that had never been done; supporting shuttle operations at Sunnyvale (later Onizuka) AFB. I was privileged to be a member of the Air Force team that accomplished so much under his leadership. I wish for his family to know that he was respected and accomplished so much for his country.
