Jim Huffman to me was a member of my family, To me he was Kevin Costner the move actor on his chopper pulling up along side of us with his shades on at a traffic signal. The next day he was Arche Bunker picking me up at the Airport and he look puzzeled and ask a question like is the 4th of July always on the forth of July or why do Surveyors have to survey the same places over and over. I will miss him, he can never be replaced, I will never forget him. Hugh Haennelt

We feel blessed for knowing Jim, and will miss his ever present good and helpful hand to help my sister, Judy with whatever needed done. He helped her take care of her husband who suffers from many years with MS in any way he could. He was also very patient and helpful with Judy's mentally challenged adult charge, Chad, that she also cares for full time in her home. We will miss Jim, he was a good man and friend. We will see you again some day at that big casino in the sky.

Dad, I wish I would have had another chance to tell you 'I love you,' face-to-face. Yet, I know that you know now how much I love you. I wish I would've had the chance to finish the bike I was building before you had passed, so we could have ridden to Florida together and visited Bonnie. You are forever in my heart and thoughts Dad! Love, your son, Justin

Jim was a kind, patient dear friend to us and particularly to our son Chad, who has some special challenges. He made time for Chad and enjoyed taking Chad with him on his motorcycle. He obtained two tickets for a Rockies' baseball game and asked if Chad would like to go with him to the game. Chad had a great time at the game and in a number of other activities where Jim offered to get him involved. We remember Jim as a gentle, good man willing to help other individuals any way he could. We have sincerely appreciated Jim and Chad and we will greatly miss him.

I really didn't realize how special Jim was as he heiped my sister take care of her husband at home before he was forced to go to a nursing home.Jim also helped her take care of her immaculant home and anything she needed he was always there for her and i mean anything no job was to big or to small.Jim was a fairly simple man and did not require or want much which as i get older admire that outlook, Jim will truly be missed by my sister and me and so many that truly new Jim.God bless.
